TV deal raises beef and lamb profile
Red Tractor beef and lamb is to sponsor a new series of TV competition Britain's Best Dish. Re-branding ABM and revised farm standards
AFS has announced it is re-brading it's six sector farm assurance schemes as Red Tractor Farm Assurance. As the AFS beef and lamb sector scheme ABM will in future be known as Red Tractor Farm Assurance Beef and Lamb and it has a new logo to go with it. As part of this project the beef and lamb farm standards have also been revised and will be implemented from 1 April 2010. All existing members will receive their new-look manuals and newsletters by post in the next week or so but they are also available on this website by visiting the Farm Standards page (click here). Farmers are encouraged to read the information provided carefully and to contact their certification bodies if they have any questions.
Red Tractor Farm Assurance Beef and Lamb Newsletter
This latest edition of the beef and lamb sector newsletter includes information on the re-branding of the Red Tractor Farm Assurance schemes, changes to the beef and lamb scheme and details of the new and revised standards which will be effective from 1 April 2010.
